Holly Maddock, Director|Choreographer
Holly Maddock was raised on Long Island, where she studied at the American Ballet Studio, and was a member of the American Dance Theatre of Long Island. With ADTLI she performed in shows such as “Long Island Dance Consortium”, and “Clara's Dream: The Nutcracker”. Holly has been a featured guest artist at Dance Fever, the Long Island Fringe Festival, and the Long Island Ballet Competition Gala. A graduate of Long Island University, Holly holds a BFA in Dance Studies, and received the Dolores Maickel Bardof Award for Excellence in Choreography. She has worked with choreographers such as Michael Leon Thomas, Steven Vaughn, and Khaleah London. Holly began her choreographic journey with the Post Concert Dance Company's “Diversity” concerts, and many company tours. She has also choreographed for the Vanessa Long Dance Company - Long2, Northport-East Northport Community Theatre, Raw: Natural Born Artists, DanceWorks New York City, and various other choreographers' showcases. Holly's choreography for "Array" won Arts Lab Series Video Dance Challenge in 2015 with Praevado Dance Collective. Currently, she is a dance educator at Steps Alive and American Ballet Studio, as well as a choreographer for several musical theatre productions. |
Angelica Fischer, Dancer|Choreographer
Angelica LaRusso has been dancing since the age of three and began dancing competitively at age eight. She received a B.F.A. in Dance Studies from Long Island University at C.W. Post and graduated with honors. She was named Outstanding Senior in Dance and was awarded an honorary degree for the Post Theatre Company for becoming a Suzuki trained actress. As a member of the Post concert Dance Company she performed in the "Choreographers Showcase" at the Symphony Space in NYC with works by various choreographers from companies such as David Parsons, Alvin Ailey and Patricia Kenny Dance Collection. She choreographed several pieces for the company and her work was selected to represent C.W. Post at the American College Dance Festival in both 2012 and 2013. Upon graduating she was accepted into the Training Program at Broadway Dance Center where she completed a rigorous 3 months of study with the top teachers in NYC. Angelica was asked to return to Post to be a guest teacher at the Tilles Dance Conference and to choreograph the Post Theatre Company’s musical “Into the Woods”. She has performed in music videos for the upcoming singer Nicoletta, and performed with her live at the Jones Beach Theatre and the Summer Concert Series at Tanger Outlets. In 2014 Angelica opened A-Team Dance Center in Amityville New York with partner Anna Rufrano and continues to branch out in the dance education community. Other performance credits include, Long Island Fringe Festival, Collage Concert at Tilles Center of the Performing Arts, and Disney Magic Music Days (2003, 2007, 2009). |
